KING

why do we love the king?
When i was young.I didn't know exactly who His Majesty the king was. What i knew about him at that time is that we,Thai students , had to take an oath that it is our duties to love our country, our religion, and His Majesty the king in our flag saluting activity every morning.
As i grew up , I'm Majesty's story,his duties as the king and all the programs he has been doing to improve Thai people's lives
Furthermore! I have read newspapers and watched programs on the television almost every night about his work and duties. I have learned that His Majesty the king not only rules the country but also helps and takes much concern about his people almost everyday since he became the king. One day not long ago, I watched the news about a war in another country . Everyone there looked so frightened and a lot of people were killed including the old people and the children.
I couldn't help imagine if i were there . how would i manage my life? it made me feel so afraid.
I think I'm so lucky and very proud of being a Thai ,born under His Majesty the king's reign in a country where people can lead happy lives.
And the reason of why we love the king is may be because Thai people have already proved that no one has the greater love towards us than His Majesty the king who has dedicated himself his whole life with his great wisdom ,talent and his wealth ,helping his sublects improve their lives,strengthening their communities and bringing great inspiration for thai people heled during the 60 years of his reign. and i think this kond of feeling has been formed in Thai people from generation to generation ,the feeling of having faith,confidence. And ties of affection to the king,Although loving our King isn't a duty! it's a pleasure! and i believe that everyone in Thailand will have the same feeling as mine.
When Thai people focus on the king ,we automatically share our feeling of love and being on friendly terms with one wnother ,like the members of a big family. People around the world see Thai people nationwide cry with delight on each Royal Celebration. I think this is a unique situation in the world that i'm very proud of !
Finally I'd like to express my love to His Majesty and make him happier by being a good person. Rightnow i must really agree when i heard someone say
" King Bhumibol is King of the King"
